About The Artist

Erin Naifeh (b. 1990) is a Los Angeles-based conceptual photographer whose work explores spectatorship, identity, and the emotional-political dynamics of visibility.
With a Bachelor's degree in Filmmaking from the Art Institute of Nashville and 15+ years as a 1st Assistant Camera (IATSE Local 600), Erin has worked on 30+ feature films and 19+ TV shows, bringing a cinematic language and philosophical depth to self-portrait photography.
Using herself as subject, Naifeh integrates photography, digital compositing, and VFX plates. Working on a white cyc with controlled strobe lighting, she refaces herself and stitches together multiple images to construct surreal, minimalist, conceptually driven realities.
Her current limited edition collections include: System Piranha, Tungsten Jab, Bodies, Bunker, and Colony. These collections are produced on archival ChromaLuxe aluminum. This highly reflective aluminum substrate is chosen to deepen the dialogue between surface, subject, and the viewer’s role in the act of seeing.
