Artist Statement
This image began with the question of what remains when the words disappear. The upside-down figure reflects an industry unsettled, caught in the pause of the Writer’s Strike. The cracked slate and the falling “MOS” tab mark a scene still moving but stripped of dialogue, rhythm, and voice. The dirty floor is the abandoned residue of sets, stories, and the people who once filled them. In the end, the photograph becomes about the things we don’t say – and what happens when no one is left to say them.
