Artist Statement
This diptych looks at the quiet disorientation of film-set life – the way you can follow every sign and still feel off the mark. The figure stands beside a directional placard, a body momentarily paused inside a machine that never stops. The subject stares down at the blank floor and reveals how easily purpose becomes routine, and routine becomes a stand-in for meaning. The radios, the hoodie, even the posture signal someone who is always “on,” even when there’s nowhere clear to go. The work stays with the truth that being guided is not the same as being grounded.
Care
Clean with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid chemicals and abrasives.
